On-page audit
When you click the extension icon, SEO Page Audit by Hendler reads the current tab's URL and page content to display an SEO report. The audit processes page titles, metadata, headings, image attributes, structured data, and links locally in your browser.
The activeTab permission grants temporary access to the tab you choose to audit. The scripting permission lets the extension run its bundled audit code and display the panel on that page.
Actions you can choose to take
Check HTTP. Your browser sends a separate request directly to the current page's URL without cookies or HTTP authentication credentials. The request does not pass through a Hendler.pro proxy. The extension reads the HTTP status, final URL, and X-Robots-Tag. The website receiving this request may see your IP address and log the request.
Copy. When you click a copy button, the selected result is written to your device clipboard.
Website handoff
Open website audit. This button opens the Hendler.pro audit form and passes the current page URL, including its query parameters if present, to Hendler.pro to fill the form. It also passes fixed campaign labels identifying the Chrome extension as the source. Review the URL before starting a separate website audit. Once you open Hendler.pro, the website may process the URL and standard request data as part of providing its service. Website analytics are managed separately through the site's cookie controls.
Data collection and storage
The on-page audit does not upload page content or audit results to a server. Results are held in the panel and are not saved as a persistent audit history. The optional requests and URL handoff are described above.
The extension uses the current page URL and content for the audit features described above. It does not access your Chrome browsing history, track your activity across sites, or use page data for advertising. The extension does not sell user data.
Third-party services
The extension itself does not use third-party analytics, tracking, or telemetry scripts.
